We are always looking for new members who would like to appear on stage or gain experience behind the scenes.
REHEARSALS
Rehearsal nights are decided on before auditions and everyone is told before commiting to a performance. At the moment there are 2 rehearsal nights (MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS). You may be called on for extra rehearsals nearer the show date but you will be notified in advance.
Rehearsals are from 7:30pm in Lees Street Church Hall. You will not be required for every rehearsal (although you are welcome to attend) and a schedule will be drawn up by the director to tell you when you are needed at rehearsals.
You will be expected to learn scripts and rehearse songs/dances in your own time as well as at rehearsals.
The Stage Crew and technical staff also attend on rehearsal nights. The crew will decide between them their own schedule for building, painting etc.
MEMBERSHIP
The membership fee is decided by commitee members at the AGM and covers the cost of insurance, costumes and performances.
The membership fee covers a years membership with the society and is £15 adults, £10 Children/students.
